WhatsGood keeps no inventory. Your order comes directly from the farmer or producer, ensuring it's as fresh as possible meaning with each order you place, you are supporting the health of your local food system.
We deliver on Wednesdays and Fridays in Rhode Island! Our order deadline is Tuesday and Thursday at 8PM, the night before delivery. The morning of delivery day, your food is harvested from the vendors and brought to our RI WhatsGood aggregation hub, where we organize and deliver it to you the same day.
“On the consumer side, you can see that the benefits are huge: getting traceable, extremely fresh food. On our side, it cuts out the conventional distributor. This is massive, because distributors take a huge sum of money off of what would be the retail price… That’s a lot of the reason that it’s untenable for farmers to stay in business.”
“We're literally harvesting the orders, no extra,” she said with a smile, well aware of the efficiency of being part of the app. “Whereas if we're going to a farmer's market, we're harvesting entire tables of things, and hoping to sell all of it.”
“Working with WhatsGood allows us to focus on what we’re good at- growing the most delicious and nutrient dense grass-fed beef and pastured pork, chicken, and eggs we can imagine. Having to focus less on delivery logistics let’s us focus more on our values: heal the land, love the animals, nourish the people. We love WhatsGood and their dedication to small farmers!”
